The American Samoa Port Administration oversees the management of seaports and airports across the territory, including Pago Pago Harbor and Pago Pago International Airport. Its mission is to provide quality services to its customers and the community while protecting the environment and preserving the Samoan way of life. Pago Pago, the primary port, handles most of the territory's containerized cargo, including exports of canned tuna. The Port can accommodate large ships, such as cruise vessels and cargo ships. Other key ports include Aunu’u and the Manu’a Island wharfs. The administration also manages air transport through Pago Pago International Airport, as well as smaller airports like Fitiuta and Ofu.
