PT Pertamina (Persero) has adjusted the prices of non-subsidized fuel types, specifically Pertamax Turbo, Pertamax Green 95, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex, in August 2024. This price adjustment comes after Pertamina held all fuel prices steady for several months. However, the price of Pertamax (RON 92) remains unchanged compared to the previous period. As is known, non-subsidized fuel prices can be adjusted at the beginning of each month.

LPG prices, both subsidized and non-subsidized, vary greatly, especially when sold by official agents and distributors in the South Tangerang (Tangsel) area and its surroundings.

At the agent level in South Tangerang, the price of a 5.5 kg LPG cylinder ranges from Rp 90,000 to 110,000 per cylinder, while a 12 kg cylinder is priced between Rp 200,000 and 205,000 per cylinder. Meanwhile, the subsidized 3 kg LPG cylinder is priced at Rp 19,000 per cylinder.

"The price of a 3 kg LPG cylinder is Rp 22,000, the 5.5 kg is Rp 90,000, and the 12 kg is Rp 205,000 per cylinder," said a staff member at the AHS Nayla LPG agency in Ciater, South Tangerang, as quoted on Monday (5/8/2024).
