The American Samoa Telecommunications Authority (ASTCA) is the primary provider of telecommunications services in American Samoa, a U.S. territory located in the South Pacific. Established in 2000, ASTCA plays a vital role in developing and managing the territory's telecommunication infrastructure. ASTCA has made significant advancements in broadband connectivity, particularly since joining the Hawaiki Undersea Fiber Optic Cable network in 2018. This cable dramatically increased American Samoa's internet capacity, providing up to 200 gigabytes of bandwidth, which has been essential for enhancing connectivity and reducing service costs​
