Al-Jouf Agricultural Development Company was founded in 1988, with capital of 300 million Saudi riyals. It is a public joint stock company listed on the stock market, and is considered one of the largest leading agricultural and industrial establishments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company started its first activities in the north of the Kingdom in the Basita Al-Jawf - Wadi Al-Sarhan area, in a vast area covering more than 421 million square meters, to date being one of the most important sources of food security in the Kingdom.
