Binnaka, also known as the ancient Pyu city of Binnaka, is an archaeological site in central Myanmar that was once a key urban center for the Pyu civilization. The city is known for its extensive city walls, which were constructed using large earthen mounds. The site is still under excavation, with discoveries of ancient structures, artifacts, and inscriptions that provide a deeper understanding of the early history of Myanmar and Southeast Asia. Binnaka is one of the important Pyu cities listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
