The Jabatan Kerja Raya Cameron Highlands is mainly involved in the maintenance and development of infrastructure projects around the district. It is a government department which is under the purview of the Jabatan Kerja Raya Negeri Pahang. The main role of this department includes overseeing all the infrastructure and building-related projects of Cameron Highlands and the surroundings. As such, it plays the role of the implementation and technical consultancy agency on behalf of the government of Malaysia.
