Canada Defense Construction, officially known as Defence Construction Canada (DCC), is a Crown corporation owned by the Government of Canada. Established in 1951, DCC was originally tasked with building critical defense infrastructure during the Cold War, including notable projects like the Distant Early Warning Line and Expo 67. Today, DCC focuses on a broad range of services, including environmental assessments, facilities management, and construction contract management, primarily serving the Department of National Defence (DND)​
