Kurt Hoffmann, founder and managing director of CATERHAM Germany, is a passionate motorsport enthusiast and knows almost all race tracks in Europe. In the 1990s he achieved many victories with PORSCHE in the GTP Endurance Championship and the PORSCHE Carrera RS Cup. However, a test drive in a CATERHAM changed everything. Kurt Hoffmann immediately fell in love with this light, dynamic car, became a dealer for the brand and then drove in the German CATERHAM Championship, which he won in 2005, and in the CATERHAM EURO CUP, where he was runner-up in 2008. Since 2009, there have only been sporadic appearances in various races. Today he is very successfully looking after the motorsport career of his son LARS, who started at the CATERHAM ACADEMY in 2018. Since then LARS has won the British CATERHAM MOTORSPORT Championship twice in 2 different classes. In 2023 he finished third in the highly competitive CATERHAM 310/R Championship.
