Established in 2002, Checkpoint Theatre is a company of multi-disciplinary artists who tell stories for the stage, print and screen. We produce and develop works that connect with, challenge, and inspire local and international audiences. We are the home of new Singapore playwriting and we nurture the next generation of Singapore theatre-makers and creatives. We build and strengthen a community of people that value creativity, both as makers and consumers of art. Besides employing countless artistic professionals and aspiring artists, we cultivate a creative mindset amongst the young people that we mentor, equipping them with a resource that is valuable in any field.
