Over 40 million vehicles have rolled off the production line in Berlin since the Ford factory was founded on August 18, 1925. When the company's headquarters were relocated to Cologne on October 2, 1930, even Henry Ford personally traveled to the laying of the foundation stone - a clear sign of the trust our company founder had in his workforce and the European market. A few decades later - in 1998 - Cologne finally became the headquarters of Ford Europe's administration, which looks after 50 markets from here. Today we have around 19,800 employees in Cologne, Saarlouis and Aachen. Since the company was founded, part of our mission has been to mobilize people and continually develop the automobile.
