The Indonesian Green Economic Growth Program is implemented jointly by the Indonesian Government and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) through the Ministry of National Development Planning (BAPPENAS) involving a number of ministries and regional governments. The organogram provides visual details of how the program supports key stakeholders. Indonesia is one of the founders of GGGI, which was founded in 2012 with the belief that economic growth and environmental sustainability are not just two compatible goals. These two goals must be integrated for the future of humanity. Since 2013, this program has sought to develop green economic growth strategies and approaches, which were made possible through financial support from the Norwegian Government in Phase I (2013-2015) and Phase II (2016-2019). The National Green Economic Growth Roadmap is a reference in Indonesia for development planning, investment and performance monitoring.
