The presence of Kimia Farma Apotek cannot be separated from the long journey of PT Kimia Farma Tbk. Starting in 1817, the first pharmaceutical industry company was established under the name NV Chemicalien Handle Rathkamp & Co. The company was nationalized at the beginning of the independence of Indonesia. On August 16, 1971, it became PT (Persero) Kimia Farma where the pharmacy was one of the company’s business activities as a Pharmacy SBU until early 2003.
