    General Information

Manuha Temple is located in Bagan and is one of the oldest and most unique temples in the area. Built in the 11th century by King Manuha, it features a large reclining Buddha statue, symbolizing the Buddha’s final moments before his death. The temple’s unusual design and architecture represent the late Mon style of construction. Visitors are often struck by the sense of tranquility and reverence that pervades the temple.
