Prosperity Investment Bank (PIB), now renamed the Bank for Investment and Development of Cambodia Plc. (BIDC), is a financial institution based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Established in 2007 as Prosperity Investment Bank, it was restructured and renamed in 2009 following its acquisition by the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV). BIDC operates under the regulations of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) and primarily serves to facilitate investment between Cambodia and Vietnam. The bank plays a key role in supporting Vietnamese investments in Cambodia and offers a wide range of banking services, leveraging the expertise and technology of its parent company, BIDV, which has over 50 years of experience in the Vietnamese financial market.
