Schneider Electric is a French company founded by two brothers in 1836. At the beginning of the 20th century, Schneider et Cie collaborated with Westinghouse Systems, a group operating in the electrical sector. From there they made electric motorbikes and locomotives. After World War II, the war equipment business began to be abandoned and shifted to electrical engineering, iron and steel work. This company continued to handle this sector until the early 1980s.
