    The Indonesian Teachers Association (IGI) is a teachers' organization that was initiated in 2000 under the name of the Indonesian Teachers' Club under the leadership of Ahmad Rizali and was officially incorporated on November 26 2009 and ratified by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights with Decree Number AHU-125.AH. 01.06 2009 with General Chair Satrian Dharma and Secretary General Muhammad Ihsan from East Java and Indra Djati Sidi from West Java as Chair of the Advisory Board.
