Servier (Tianjin) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of the French multinational pharmaceutical group Servier. Established in 2000, the Tianjin branch is located in the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA), which is one of China’s top industrial zones. The facility began operations in 2002 and has been producing and packaging various pharmaceutical products since then. It plays a key role in Servier’s global supply chain, particularly for the Chinese and South Korean markets. The plant is capable of producing a wide range of pharmaceutical formulations, including tablets (coated, breakable, and modified-release), granules, and high-potency products. It also houses advanced packaging facilities, such as blister packs and bottle packaging. The Tianjin site has undergone significant upgrades over the years, including the construction of a new quality control (QC) building in 2014 and a new production workshop certified for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in 2020.
