Welcome to our 66-room haven in the heart of vibrant Los Angeles. You can find us on Fairfax Boulevard across from the famed Grove and the Original Farmer’s Market. Short Stories Hotel is a serene retreat in an eclectic LA neighborhood, with staff dedicated to personalized service and making your stay unique. We are proud of Short Stories Hotel’s history in the neighborhood. The property is situated at the location of the former Farmer’s Daughter Hotel, a property dating back to the 1960s and well-known in Hollywood circles. Located across the street from CBS Television City, audience members and contestants of The Price is Right used to stay at the hotel to line up for the show first thing in the morning. The property was also famously mentioned by Julianne Moore as the place where she first read the script for Boogie Nights.
