Tanagra is a town and municipality in Boeotia, Greece, situated north of Athens near Thebes. In antiquity, it was renowned for its mass-produced terracotta figurines, known as Tanagra figurines, which date primarily from the 3rd century BC. These figurines are appreciated for their naturalistic features, preserved pigments, variety, and charm.
