The Indonesian Breast Cancer Foundation (YKPI) is a non-profit organization partnering with the government to promote breast cancer education and prevention activities in Indonesia. YKPI was officially inaugurated in 2015, after previously being called the Jakarta Breast Health Foundation (YKPJ) which was founded on 19 August 2003 by Linda Agum Gumelar, Rima Melati, Andy Endriartono Sutarto, Tati A.M. Hendropriyono and (late) Dr. Sutjipto, Sp.B(K)Onk. In 2020, YKPI received an award from the Indonesian Ministry of Health as an agency/institution that had boldly implemented GERMAS, the Prevention & Control Category for Non-Communicable Diseases in Indonesia at the peak ceremony of National Health Day 2020.
