The idea to build an arts community came from the involvement of Mrs. Yince Djuwidja (Founder) in the local arts world. As an artist, he found that there were limitations in space, time and facilities when using one of the art museums in Jakarta. In addition, local artists tend to find obstacles in interacting with foreign artists, especially artists from China. Therefore, he decided to build the Y霉n Artified Community Art Center or often also called the Yun Art Center.
