Lake Toba is a large natural lake in North Sumatra, Indonesia, located in the caldera of a supervulkan mountain. The lake is 100 kilometers long, 30 kilometers wide, and 508 meters deep. The lake is located in the middle of the northern Sumatra island with a surface elevation of about 900 meters.
